I really want this phone. I know at the moment, the iPhone is deemed to be supeprior to the blackberry but personally, I love blackberry, except for the reported glitches which I will not deny were stated when the phone was first released in November of 2011 I still have a personal interest with this smartphone. The blackberry is very personal, very business and very organized and I love how organized I feel with it. Okay lets go through specifications.
NOTE: This is not a technical review I shall just present features I feel should be highlighted.

5MP camera, a huge improvement of many previous blackberry’s although incomparable with many Smartphone’s out now as the Samsung Galaxy S Three which is 8 Megapixels, however lets just say its better. HD video recording also a good new improvement, along with flash which is dope, cool new feature is face detection which is always dope. Blackberry users always seem to complain about the blackberry battery life, I somewhat believe many users are not charging there blackberry’s correctly. Of course lots of phone usage, such as gaming and music reduces battery but many people seem to believe charging a blackberry overnight is a good thing NO. This is how you drain your battery out and it fails to work, STOP charging your phones over night. If anything go on Amazon and buy a battery from China dude they work amazingly DOPE.
Okay the aspect I love mostly about this phone is TOUCH AND QWERTY KEYBOARD, best of both. Touch screen for when you’re feeling fancy and QWERTY keyboard because we all love the simplicity of the keyboard and I think blackberry keyboards are by far the best.
Personally if you have wifi at home I think its dope when using your blackberry, I hope with the introduction of a more powerful processor 1.2 GHz reduces the amount of general lagging as seen with previous phones, and it would be dope if the Map feature was more advanced and more helpful, as the iPhone map feature.
iPhones are DOPE don’t get me wrong, but I personally prefer blackberry’s they are silk and are less of a liability.
Blackberry email feature is amazing instantly send and receive emails, of course the classic BBM (blackberry messenger) and blackberry 7 operating system its pretty dope. As of now apps on the blackberry are still not superior to any android or iPhone and I think Blackberry Music feature was a waste of time, there needs to be a better focus on a better appworld and apps where you do not always have to upgrade for the full version JEEEZ.
Although this phone is not the newest in the blackberry range I picked this phone because it’s one of my favourites they have released and at the time many people I believe were attracted to this phone.
Blackberry have currently released the 7.1 OS which illustrates they are listening to users by making sure there are frequent updates. Also we see the works of Blackberry 10 although through reading online seems like confidence with Blackberry 10 has decreased. Research in Motion need to continue to produce quality smart phones because structure wise I think its slightly pointless to attempt to bring out a version of the iPhone, stick to the dope silkiness of a bold or a curve, there is still a wide market the capture, there needs to be a focus on apps and maintain DOPE operating systems.
I realize this review of the 9900 is very old and outdated but I really wanted to look in-depth at the phone as I personally still would buy it.
At a retail price of £499.99 (on the official blackberry website) or typically £25 a month contracts.
