Been a while, I’ve been lazy and university has been hard! But I’ve decided to start blogging again, why because I want to illustrate that I am up to date with technology and fashion and blah blah! SO ILL START with….well its obv IPHONE5!
DAH DAH~ I’m going to do a random review as a first time buyer of the iPhone so and I don’t have any feelings towards Apple *cough* LOL (private moment) but let’s GO!
It’s been about a month since I got my iPhone 5, I love it, it feels good in your hand it’s really fast…bear in mind I was coming from a Blackberry 8520 (the oldest version of blackberry) the new iOS 6 is dope and works well with the iPhone 5.
I had to wait a while for apps to be optimized to fit the iPhone 5 screen, slightly annoying but also I think they look a whole lot better stretched out, Whatsapp definitely looks a lot better on a longer screen. There are still many apps to be optimized but your main stream ones, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc… are all set up.
The phone itself holds A6 processor chip, and even know people are complaining the battery life is amazing, and lasts a whole lot longer than what I thought. I did not go on contract for my iPhone 5 one, because I believe contracts are silly, you pay £30-£40 a month for 2 years and buy the time that 2 years has passed you’ve paid out more than the phone you bought after like 9 months, but that’s just me . I am on a £10 contract haha…I’m so budget!
ANYHOO, back to the iPhone 5, the new design is sleeker and a lot lighter than the iPhone 4/4S its crazy holding them against each other you can really feel the weight of the 4/4S. The 8MP camera, as dope as ever, the front camera now presents a 1.2 MegaPixel camera which definitely picks up better quality compared to the 4S which was your standard 0.3 MP VGA.
Introducing the lighting pin, the new apple connector for apple products has changed form a 16pin to a 8pin, which means yes you cannot use your old connectors for new apple products. The new 8pin is cool, but It’s going to get some getting used to for people. I need to buy an adapter because the pin costs £30 from apple and I don’t have that kind of money to spend on a spare charger…eBay here I come.
I think the iPhone 5 is definitely one of Apples best iPhone, in terms of speed check out the iPhone 5 with 4G on YouTube, it’s crazy dope…But then again the prices of 4G…I refuse to pay.
I am currently on a 500MB data plan and TBH I do not think I need any more than that, I use Wi-Fi at home and at university and really use my Data on Fridays and on the weekends if I even leave my room.

I must add the ear pods are comfy, I am not a fan of in ear headphones because I feel it just gets all the dirty in your ear and its all nasty however, the ear pods are comfy they sit well in the ear and the quality is dope, at first I was hesitant to use them but now I love em’. BTW check out some drop tests on YouTube, I think the design for the iPhone is a lot more durable. I shall end of this fact the iPhone 5 is 18% thinner, 20% lighter than its predecessor the iPhone 4S and its 70% doper in my opinion and 100% doper than my OLD BLACKBERRY.
So you going to be buying an iPhone 5? Or waiting for the 5S apparently it’s going to be realised in Sept 2013. Apple ahy?
At a retail price starting at £529.99 (on the official Apple website) or typically £29 a month contracts. Available in black or white.
Its funny, my second review on my blog was on the Blackberry 9900 and now look at me…
