Welcoming 2024 with open arms!

Imposter syndrome is a real challenge, but after a year at my new job, I find genuine enjoyment in my work. Charlamange the GOD dropped a gem on an episode of Brilliant Idiots last year November: “Imposter syndrome never goes away if you are living life the way you should. You keep growing, keep reaching new levels that you’ve never been at before, and because you’ve never been at that level, it’s uncomfortable. Things are supposed to make you feel uncomfortable… new positions, new situations.”

In 2024, my goal is to continue thriving as a highly efficient senior, delivering quality solutions, documenting, enabling my LEAD to lead, and supporting junior engineers to learn and excel.

LUSH things in January:

Prada Paradoxe has been on my wish-list for a while, and I finally got my hands on it. I genuinely enjoy my perfumes now and don’t believe in saving them for ‘special occasions.’ Also, Angel Share is truly an irresistible scent; I understand why Beyoncé loves it.

BBC Gladiators, the iconic show, is back, and I absolutely love it. VIPER is the best kind of villain, and FIRE (who is 37 WHAT) is the COOLEST— total woman crush!

Attended a Mobility class with Adanola at BLOK Shoreditch, and wow, the intensity was real! (flexibility isn’t my strong suit AT ALL) Despite the pain, it was an amazing session, pushing through stretches that felt both challenging and incredible. Working out with friends is my fav – we laughed our way through the discomfort. Major shoutout to Kelly Cho for the lesson; I’m definitely up for another round of this class.

Just need a bit of mental prep time for those intense stretches – haha!
